Exhibition La Confrontation (Confronting Each Other) marks the beginning of searching for the unique expression which tends to reunite contradictions between male and female, spiritual and material. The print of our bodies on the canvas leaves the trace, antropometry, expression of whole being and its energy. The effect of constant change of the light causes a visual shock for the viewer, but afterward it transforms to pure aesthetic pleasure.
Print of our bodies in space and time is our trace on the painting canvas. Prints are made with phosphorescent pigment, which was previously put on our bodies. Prints are visible only in the dark, they consist of two sides-male and female. Double nature of confrontation is in uniting of our beings, of material and spiritual. Patterns without traces are the space in which our energies collide without conciseness about it. Those traces are present in our thoughts and they have the power of glorification of nature, love and immaterial. By varying the ambient from dark to light, the notion of samples also varies in its nature and materiality. (Mirko+Bojana, May, 2009)
